Regulars
Every regular the household has, each with its own page: the rhythm the app has learned, the shop it is pinned to, its season, how much is usually bought, and — when it applies — the quiet line saying it was not found on the last trips to its shop. See Lists and regulars.
Shops
The shops the app has learned from where the phone was at check-off, and asked about when it was not sure. A regular can be pinned to one.
Recent trips
Each shopping trip inside the look-back window, with its day, how many things it bought and its shop. Open a trip to see what it bought. A trip with no shop offers the shop picker right there; one that has a shop keeps the picker behind Change shop. Either way, choosing a shop re-attributes the whole trip.
What the app knows
The facts the household has told the app and the ones it has inferred — a region, a preference, a habit picked up from a pantry photo. Each can be forgotten, one at a time. The list is there so that nothing the app believes about your household is hidden from it.
You
Which person in People this account is, or Not set. Tapping it opens the page where This is me is said. Once set, the "Mine" filters mean you, and the assistant is told who is typing.
Household
The household's name and region. The region is what the app uses when it thinks about seasons — what is in season where you live, not where the app was written.
Colour
A colour for this workspace, from six tones. It tints the bar at the top of every screen, the buttons and the chips, so a glance tells one household from another. See Households and workspaces.
Share, and Members
Share, in your own workspace, offers two ways: Share this workspace, which makes the one you are in joinable with everything already in it, or Start a separate one, a new empty workspace. Either asks for a name and opens that workspace's Members page. In a shared workspace, Members lists who is in it and holds the invite link — good for a week, shareable, replaceable, withdrawable. Anyone who opens it and signs in joins. Whoever started the workspace cannot leave but can remove others — which also retires the current invite link; anyone else can leave from here. See Households and workspaces.
Notifications
A block of its own, right on the page: why a notification exists, then three switches for this phone — reminders you set, somebody asked you, somebody is at the shop — each off until you turn it on, and under them Send me a test and Forget this phone once one is. If this phone could not be registered, one line under the switches says why. See Notifications and reminders.
Look back
How many days back the app reads when it works out recent trips, the calendar, people and tags, questions, and the links between notes and to-dos. Ninety, unless you change it.
A switch, Different limits per area, reveals a field for each of those areas — leave one blank for the same as everything else. Older notes and to-dos stay exactly where they are; they simply stop being counted. If a person's page looks emptier than it should, or an old to-do has left the calendar, this is the number to raise.
Assistant usage
Two meters — today and this month — showing how much of this account's allowance for the assisted features is used and when it comes back: daily at midnight UTC, monthly on the 1st. The section is there from the moment Settings opens, with a spinner where the meters will be until the reading arrives. When either is used up, the assisted features pause and everything else keeps working. See The assistant.
Service
A list of the times an assisted feature could not be reached, or a change could not be saved. Nothing here needs doing; it is the record behind a chip you may have tapped away.
Sign out
Signs this account out on this device. Nothing is deleted.
Tidy up
Not in Settings, but worth knowing about: when the app's review of the household's regulars has proposals — two regulars that look like one thing, or one that looks like two — a Tidy up card appears on the Lists home, each proposal to accept or decline. See Lists and regulars.
